A PERSON could go mad trying to pinpoint the moment he lost a friend. So seldom does that friend make his feelings clear by sending out an e-mail alert. (more after the jump NYTimes.com)
This is a very interesting article regarding a new type of shunning. The deleting of someone from your friend list. You know when it happens because you click through a profile and suddenly you either can't see the profile or can't access it fully. I've done it to people and people have done it to me. Glad the NYTimes put it in a cohesive manner.
More actual profiles to come.

Peoples in my life - Facebook
According to facebook I have 698 friends. My roommate George is friends with about 1/6th of them. 116 to be exact. Some people ask me if I actually know every single person on my FB account. I tell them I've met them at one point or another. They may not be friends but I certainly know who I met them through, where I met them and if I still hang out with them or not.
This blog is a project to lay down every single person who's come into my life. One of my best friends isn't even on FB. He plans on keeping it that way. Consider this blog an extension of the people I come across in my life.
